DUES ARE WAY PAST DUE!

The time has come and gone when you 2004 Club (& AMA) dues were due and payable.  14 (25%) of last year's Senior Members have not yet paid-up and are considered delinquent.  You know who you are!  To maintain continuity of your membership bring your check (or cash) for $75 and your 2004 AMA membership card to the March 2nd meeting, or Mail you check and a Xerox copy of your AMA card to B. C. Kistler 1486 Havenwood Dr. Baton Rouge, LA 70815-6738.  Your payment and poof of AMA membership must be received by March 16th, or you will be dropped from the club roster and lose your flying privileges at the field.  Please don't let this happen - the club needs you.  This is a great hobby, with a lot of great people in it.  Don't drop out and miss out on all the fun and fellowship!  This notice is being given in accordance with Article 8.6 of the Club Bylaws.  Thanks BC.

Everyone is getting a extra month here as I forgot to put this announcement in the newsletter last month.  Let's get the dues in so we will know where we stand with the budget.

Don't forget Ladies Night on Saturday Feb 28 - 6:30 at Mike Anderson's Restaurant in the Holiday Inn Gonzales. It is located on LA 30 just east of I10 just down the road from Tanger Mall Exit 177.  Let's all come and have a good turnout for the wives.

There will be a workday to fix up the shed at the field.  The scheduled date is March 6th.  This is the first Saturday after the meeting.  We will be rebuilding the tables and the radio impound.  Other work may be done, so come to the meeting for details.  If the weather is bad I believe that it will be rescheduled for March 13th the following Saturday.
Mike Goetzman has volunteered as Contest Director for the Big Bird event.  Let's get with him for volunteers so he will know who is doing what.

We are still having the presentations after the meeting.  If you have something you what to present then by all means let us know.  The last list I saw was getting short.
